Oh boy, I wish I had a scanner, because there was a comic strip in yesterday's paper I thought you all would like ^_^ I don't know how many of you know of/read Foxtrot, but it's my favorite comic strip. The main character, Jason, is obsessed with sci-fi and computers and the like, and they always have stuff about Lord of the Rings and Star Wars and the Matrix and yesterday's was hilarious. This is what it reads:
Jason: Paige liked "Return of the King", Mother!
Mom: So?
Jason: So what if she's just the tip of the iceberg?! What if everyone thinks it's great?! What if being a Lord of the Rings fanatic becomes, you know...MAINSTREAM?!...I guess I can go back to "Star Wars".
Mom: Star what?
😄
URGENT!

To get their predictions sorted before the third Assignment!
Well guys about assignment number 2:
It went pretty smoothly, except for the second floor flight with Ni-Zahn his goons. I'll try to keep my head with it a bit more next Fight
some pointers:
- Rex, Ush might have already said it but I'll say it again: shooting 6 bursts at a target is not allowed (atleast according to Ush)
- Dexx: try to remain focussed to where we are, I read everything that is posted in combat because it can matter a lot
- All gunners: WATCH YOUR AMMO, some ppl still find themselves without ammo in the middle of a fire fight, that can cause seriously problems for the whole team, counting it ain't that hard
- GENERAL NOTE: Read what the others have done, no need to attack someone who has just been killed before, or attacking the same cop with 3 ppl when you have enough different targets
I was wondering how did ppl think the talk went? I think it went fairly well

heh, I'm guilty of that myself...lesson learned: running up stairs without first checking to see what's waiting for you = BAD IDEA.
I think it went pretty well, considering the sheer number of bad guys we were up against...
Heh, well, I am not inclined to be a hardass about things, apprecating that not everone here is a hardcore rper. But I will have to remind people that comments like "I'll go help Cloud" when you are two floors below him I cannot possibly interpret for you.
As for ammo... it is burst fire that normally depletes ammo fast. Best way to keep track of bursts is to remember nearly all weapons that burst fire have enough ammo for ten bursts! Ten is easy to remember. So the norm if fighting to the 'max' would be to fire six bursts, four bursts. reload, repeat. Six bursts can attack two targets with an even roll, four bursts can really nail a single guy.
The Glock 18 is the exception; it carries 11 bursts.
