So we're what, three days into combat, and already I'm yelling?

Okay, PW, DM, and KOTW work against all attacks when they're in effect and your stat is higher than your opponents, right?

I'm assuming so, and judging by how San and Ares are doing with their fight, am going to guess that the Vampires have a Perception stat of 3.

I don't have to either, mine's higher than that 😛 I'm just basing that off of Ush saying that Ares is defenseless even though he has PW out.

In fact these Vamps are all style over substance and their mental stats are not great.

We need to figure out how to kill Vampires.

And Fire just approached me with an interesting (and very good in my opinion) idea...basically for us to make a combat guide for how to fight in Matrix without getting your ass killed...basically how to fight smart, since people seem to be doing a lot of stupid things so far. Which, granted, a good amount of it is due to people being new to the game...but that is pretty much the point of us making this.

So yes, we're going to be compiling that, and if anyone has anything they'd like to add, put it here or send it to one of us...

Gunners: In a gunfight, Find yourself cover to fire from whenever it's convenient to do so. Otherwise YOU will be the one turned into a Shotgun Pancake. This is something a few people have been neglecting to do...

Similar to Osokans, I'm up for removing Vampires' heads after they're downed. Maybe that would be "disrupting" the code enough, like Ariadne suggested?

Well, my main piece of advice is to keep track of your turn number.
