A warning about trying to tie it into the laat game there, as such developments as these are inextricably tied up with the themes and events that have been presented within the game, most especially on the Philo path.

In essence, this game has been about different things.
I don't know whether or not to declare Ush completely evil (or, if we want to be really technical, declare his brother completely evil), or be all "haha told you so" because this entire time I've been saying there's no way that the plot would just arbitrarily kill off half the characters.
I think I'll do both...
