i don't think the matrix "chose" the one... why do i say so..? because the architect pointed out that his life was a sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programing of the matrix... neo was the eventuality f the anomaly, that despite the architect's sincerest efforts has been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision... while it remains a burden assiduously avoided, it is not unexpected and thus not beyond a measure of control... which has led him inexorably to the architect...

what i think it means is that from the start, neo was destined to be the one due to the fact that his life was from an unbalanced equation from the matrix... the anomaly code/ program evolved from this remainder to what we refer to as the one... also from this unbalanced equation evolved neo's super human abilities...

just thoughts... any comments are welcome...
