There are so many classic samurai movies so is hard to chose. So I'm going to say.....Yojimbo is among the best.

well, although i haven't seen very many (try one) i really liked the Last Samurai...it was really good, despite having Tom Cruise in it...he really did a good job, and the plot was not recycled, at least to me...
