he know where he's going or where he's sending something because his brain sends out a radar type thing and the waves relay back to him and tell himi what's there and what it looks like, so basically he gets a mental picture.

but how would hje know where to send the signals without knowing where or what it is in the first place? where would they know where to go?

if he thinks it's there then the signals will tell him, like if he tried to teleport an orange out of the fridge and into his hand, nothing would happen because there would be no orange, hat's why he sends out the signal, just to check.

the signals are just his thought patterns, if he thinks that there's an orange, then that's what the signals target, and since the signals travel at thought speed (which is very fast), he's able to teleport anything of pretty much anysize with quick speed. Not to mention that he is very intelligent, like an extremely high IQ.

Mutant History: Kaelin is still at high school. He moved at the age of 11 to New York from the north of England, and still has a slightly British accent. Because his power was moe or less under control he has managed to keep his mutation to himself, and lead a normal life. He found that by using his power slightly he could throw better and run faster than most other people, but he made sure he was never the best at everything. He was a bit of a ladies man, and part of the sports teams. Then the checks started happening at his school, and although the government can't chack anything without his permission, they try to catch him at night. Several other members of the team have refused tests, but their reasons are because they don't want their steroid use to be found out. This led the government to think there was a mutant cult in the sports elements of the teams, and so, while he has a normal day life, his night life consists mainly of running, hiding and fighting.
