To get them out of there, Diandra devised a plan using the other squad truck that hadn't been thrown in the void.

Diandra: All mutants! Board that squad trick! It's our only way to safety!

Jim stepped away from Zack and became visible. "Karen and the runaways are still in the forest." Jim said.

Shadow stood on the other side of the building, looking around at the carnage that had unfolded before him. He sighed looking back at some civilians stood in awe, "Go home!" He yelled, "We're not your enemies dispite what you may think! But those mutant police will do everything in their power to kill us, even if it means killing you! Now GO!"

"Yeah," Zack said, "We can't leave them. But first, why have you hidden your power?"

"Lets not talk about me and get Karen..." Jim said glaring at Zack.

John ran back past the building. Then he looked at shadow who was still in the building. "Shadow, where should we go? We need to regroup." John told Shadow.

Diandra went back at John's position.

"Fine," Zack said, "Afterwards, though..."
Without finishing, he ran off, trying his best to keep up.

"The woods, we should be able to hide somewhere there for a while, make a plan." Shadow said pointing back the way he had come from

John nodded. "Alright then, we're following you." John told shadow

Zack threw out a hand, a door on a nearby car buckling as it flew off. The car alarm began to wail, but Zack ignored it and jumped in
"Get in!" he yelled, unlocking the rest of the doors. Without a key, he used brute force to turn the ignition, and the car purred into life.

as jean got in justice turned into a bird and cheetha and stood by the car.ready to run with it
