Zack was driving along the road when he saw the police open fire on a man. He realised they had no provaction, and although he didnt want ot get involved he realised that the man must have been a mutant, like himself. He knew that using his powers would throw away the secrecy he had sustained for the last 5 years. But he couldn't let someone be killed for what he was.

Zack flicked his car into a turn, pulling over. He opened the door just in front of Jim and yelled
"Get in!"

Jim wasnt sure of to get in or not, but he just did.

Karen started to worry about Shadow not comin out, so she headed towards the boiz bathroom and stomping on the lawyers "duckie" on the way. She didnt really care that peeps saw her go in to the boiz bathroom, so she opened the door, hopeing that no one was useing the toilet.

Zack slammed down the accelerator, heading nowhere in particular
"Okay..." Zack realised it may have been a mistake picking up the guy, as he heard sirens start up in the street he had just left.

"What the hell was that?" John asked as he got up and walked downstairs, only to find that his window had been broken. John walked outside to see who had done it.

Jim looked at the guy.
"thx for saving me back there, and no i dont have anywhere to go im just looking for my little sis Karen," Jim answered him."btw my name is Jim."
He started getting scared that he would get caught again and wut he didnt know was, he started to blend in to the color of the seat he was siting in.

Shadow was crouched in the corner of the toilets crying and looking at the dead body. This had been why he didn't phase with other people, incase he let go or got out and de-phased while they where still trapped inside the object. It was also why he had chased after Karen in the first place, when she had become him, to warn her.

Karen stepped in and saw a guy dead and then saw Shadow sitting in a corner crying.She walked over to him and sat next to him.
"wutz wrong?"She asked and didnt care if he didnt answer her.

Karl vision mode twitched. "A fight goings on down there!" he dived out the window and flipped into the air and landed on one of the assailant's.

Jezebel ran dowstairs after pulling on her jeans and saw the mutants and police outside.

Zack looked strangely at Jim as he changed colour. He had never seen another mutant use their powers up close before and he wasn't sure what he should do.
"I'm Zack. I think I should drop you off somewhere though, because they come out at night..." He tailed off as remembered some mutants were dangerous, and he had no idea how dangerous Jim might be.

Jim looked at Zack and relized he was useing his power.
"just because im a muant?"he asked silently.

Zack looked slighty insulted at the thought he was a racist
"I'm a mutant too. I meant it for your own safety. The government send people at night to try and check my DNA."

Jim looked out behind the car. "ok, but if u knew a person who luved water, where would they go to stay warm from the cold?" asked hopefully he would find his sis where ever Zack said.

"I duno. Maybe the river? Maybe a swimming pool? Maybe the harbour. If that was me I'd be at the harbour. If that's where you think your sis would be, we better get there before nightfall."
