Bianca opened the door to her apartment and immediately noticed it had been searched. She started to walk in when she heard a mans voice coming from her bedroom. She backed slowly out of the door and left as quietly as she had come. She should have known they would come. That had been close. She went down and strolled quietly through a damp alley. She reached into her jacket and pulled out her cigerettes. The pack was empty. She turned into a mini-mart and looked for her brand. She bought them and left.
She had to find a place to stay. Then she would need to find a job. She lit up a cigerette and leaned against a signpost. She watched the street as cars whizzed by. She glanced at the light. It stayed green. She was done waiting for it to change, though. She crossed the street, ignoring screams from angry drivers and screeches of tires as cars tried to steer away from her. She reached the other side and took a long drag, then continued on her way.
