yeh they are usually confined to an intranet but u can hook it up to the net....and its the fastest u can have...unless u count government lines...

I would LOVE to have a 100MB connection.
BTW your bandwidth isn't the actual speed at which you download files, it's just a general communications bandwidth. Some speed test web sits will tell you your actual speed for downloading such as www.bandwidthplace.com/speedtest. This a good place to test, you can choose where you live and the type of connection you have. It'll tell you you speed and the average in your area, my speed for downloading files off the net is about 400KB as opposed to 4-7KB on my old dial-up connection.
