Seraph Question....

not sure if this was asked, i hate searching the thousands of pages about Seraph but how come in m1 we the see the oracle there was no seraph guarding her,but in 2 and 3 it was like he was always there protecting her... wierd isnt it, why didnt they jus put him in from the beginnning...?

He was buying cookie dough. Maybe beacause Matrix 1 was really meant to only be one movie with no sequels, then the W bros had to expand on the story, that's why there are so many more characters.

All 3 movies were written in 1996.

I guess Seraph wasn't around in m1 because the rebel's didn't need to know of his presance? In M2 we only saw him because the Oracle needed to be sure that it was really "the one" and not some agent in drag.

Are you sure about the movies? I thought Wacho indeed showed Warner a project for 3 movies but only the first script was complete...I'm not sure, just asking... 😮 😉

The WB brothers wanted to make three movies, but Warner Bros only greenlighted one. And the Oracle says that Seraph has been with/protecting (can't remember which) for years, so I guess maybe he was doing something for her or at the Tea House.

I think they were having difficulties confirming a part for Seraph. It was designed for Jet Li, and he turned it down. The next person they introduced it to turned it down. There was an actor for Reloaded, so they put him in.

maybe because he wasn't "fallen" yet. Like what the previous threads have said, he was an "angel". I guess he worked for the Mero since in Revo they said "hey look, its wingless". He just chose to protect the oracle.

But he said he had protected The Oracle for years, the original Matrix did not happen years before Reloaded (story wise).

Seraph also makes it seem like the Oracle performed something for him, so drastic or amazing that he chose to fight for her rather than for the Merv., almost as if she saved his life or something...

This might of been said already, but my idea is that Serpah was still working with the Merv, but the Oracle helped him, in between M1 and M2. Looks like this was said, but I don't care.

Like said above, maybe he was working for the Merv, but tricking him, perhaps giving his false info or something like that to protect the Oracle from the Merv.

Ever notice the guy in the first movie when Morpheus and Neo enter the Oracle's building. Same glasses as Seraph 🙂
