True (mostly), though some come from the latter as well, because people want to know what all the fuss is about....which leads them to their music, which leads towards becoming a fan.

Do you ever get tired of making up bs? This is precisely why I call you a Beatlemaniac.
A) If it's mostly true, prove it. That's a factual claim.
B) "People want to know what the fuss is about, which leads to their music, which leads toward becoming a fan.", huh? It doesn't always. You act like if you discover The Beatles, you will become a fan of them.
That's Beatlemaniac style.

Why do you think people who don't even listen to them, or aren't necessarily big fans of music, walk around wearing shirts with The Beatles' name on? Or The Rolling Stones? Ashlee Simpson, for example. Because they are a band that people feel they either have to like or give mass amounts of recognition to.I'm not saying The Beatles' music cannot, under any circumstance, earn them new fans alone. That's how I got into them, I had no sense of their reputation. My point is, there is an undeniable air of untouchability that is, wrongly in my view, put upon the band.

i can agree with that
just to be clear, i was joking when i said "they sucked". however i never liked their music, didnt see anything revolutionary about it, and think people are way to fanboyish/girlish to recognise that they were not the ZOMG GREATEST BAND EVER!1. i agree with ac. the super-mega-ultra-giga-acclaim is not deserved. and as far as their revolutionary surrealist 60's gig, you can thank bob dylan.
