the last i heard about this horrible thing is that they are taken a break untill april and then finish up the season with 6 episodes, and supposely gonna have 2 major deaths...... THEN NO MORE ANGEL williow is suppose to make an apperance for one or more of the last shows ( dont know how many) and Joss i believe is still talking to Sara Michelle Geller (buffy) about makeing an apperance as well. so we will see

me too. where did you hear about the deaths? anybody hear about the talks going on w/ WB?

i have no idea about the deaths, but some people over at sf-fandom were talking about the WB being in negotiations for a 6th season if the ratings improve tremendously by the end of the season...

Hey has anyone ever thought that maybe they canceled Angel because they didnt have anymore ideas for it.I mean why ruin a good show ?

That's simply not the reason. See page 1 of this thread... I wrote a piece on why the WB cancelled it... remember, it was their choice, and not Whedon's. What does the WB care if the team has run out of ideas as long as the show is generating moolah? Again, see page 1...

Me too! There was even an article about the "Save Angel" campaign over at cnn! So maybe we'll have an effect after all...

I read the other day that SMG dosent know if she can make the final of Angel because her aunt died and shes been down with her family. She said she dosent want the finale to revoule around her since Angel was always in Buffy shadow, but she did say if she could make it in time, and it depends on what the writers write. It also that that the actress that plays Dawn is busy with a disney movie, and Alyson Hannigan is doing a play out of country.

Bad news, though: Many of the writers have other gigs lined up. David Fury is going to the new Van Helsing-based show, Transylvania

Well, I never got into watching Angel until recently, so I haven't seen an episode w/ Connor yet.....so that's pretty cool
