Who says that the opening will be the fight? It may get interrupted or something and they escape and later fight the demons. Hopefully Joss can get Alyson Hannigan and Sarah Michelle Gellar to be in it. Willow could probably take on the army alone.

I think that Angel when down hill since Doyle left in season 1. And I had hoped that he would return to show, but then the actor who played him died (sad).

I think in this latest season the cast is too big, too many story lines running though the program.

I think that a cast of Angel, Fred and Wes, would work, but that will never happen since the show has been canceled.

I hate Spike as well; I stopped watching Buffy because he became a massive main character in the series.

i only watch Angel now for the hottie Amy Acker (man shes hot)

Doyle was only in eight episodes, so how could it exactly go downhill...
And the many storylines were supposed to be solved in later seasons, but they had to wrap it up because the show was cancelled.

well, i liked the whole of season 1, where there was only a small cast: Angel, Wes and Cordy!!
