Gov. Swann looked suspicious for a moment then answered "No, it would just be a bad choice on your part. We aren't saying you must follow your heart, we're just saying you'd be happier if you did..." he paused. "Speaking of your mother," he continued, a pained look coming onto his face,"She hasn't been so well, these past few days. The doctor says.... that she may not last through the week." He looked away quickly.
Regina walked over to the bed. SHe picked her mom's hand up and kissed it. She blinked back the tears. "I love you." she said gathering her mom in a hug.

Will chuckled. "Nice one, miss...er...Elizabeth." he said then noticed she wasn't joking. "I never thought she would actually do that?"
Regina couldn't hold it back anymore. SHe cried in her mother's arms. "Don't leave me." she begged through the tears.

Willl sighed. "You can't change the fact she loves the sea. I've seen it. She feels trapped...especilly in your shadow. Regina must believe that it's her only way to get freedom." he rationalized.
Her mother sighed and patted Regina's back, "I will never leave you." she said sternly. She peeled Regina off of her to look her in the eyes. "Do you understand? I will always be with you."

"I know. Its not the fact that she's going away to be a pirate that bothers me much. Its the fact that I won't always know she's alright." Elizabeth said, watching the clouds.
