HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
oh dear god, you have got to be kidding...yeah, i'm sure they'd approve a video of cops getting hacked with a chainsaw getting put in a movie. god some people are thick
I've seen some other pretty disturbing films since last posting in this thread.
Men Behind the Sun has some very horrifying and disturbing scenes. Such as a little boy being knocked out and disected whiel still alive, also there is a scene where they freeze this womans hands and then peel the frozen flesh off of her hand, exposing her bones, finally there is also a scene where a baby is buried under snow and left for dead.
In Salo - 120 Days of Sodom there are numerous rape and humiliation scenes, all of which are quite disgusting.
In the Guinea Pig series, a series of short Japanese films that are infamous for their violence and disgusting images. Two films in the series are simply fake snuff films, one is extremely basic and depraved, we more or less watch a woman get beaten and tortured in a number of ways for 40 minutes, finally she is murdered. The other one is a woman is given drugs and her limbs are all cut off one by one.
Then there's "The Mermaid in the Manhole", my personal favorite in the series, in which a painter finds a mermaid trapped in the sewer. He takes her home with him to look after her, however she has a small infection on her abdoman from living in the sewer which begins to spread and get worse and worse, eventually her whole body is covered with puss oozing tumors which worms and maggots occasionally burst out of. A nausiating but at the same time somewhat beautiful film about the decay of beauty on our modern society.
Also the ending of May, when the hand of her "new friend" reaches over and caresses her face gently, showing us that all of the horrible actions in the film could have been prevented by someone simply showing her some very basic affection, a very haunting and sad film.

Nah, this is quite a different thread from those two, I say keep it up.
Sure there's a Disturbing Horror Movies thread, and there's a Distrubing Scenes thread. But there isn't a Disturbing MOVIE thread.
Irreversible is an incredibly disturbing film. Especially the scene where

nine minute rape scene
I've also heard Salo and Cannibal Holocaust are two of the most disturbing movies ever, but have not been able to get my hands on either of them...
