Something i dont understand about M1 AND M3

in matrix 3 we find out that the Fields are in the machine city right. in matrix 1, neo woke up in the Fields (machine city) and the Neb went inside the city to get him out. in matrix 3 one of the captains says "in 100 years nobody has been within 1 km of the machine city what makes you think you can make it". if no one has been within a km of it how did the Neb get there????? 😕

If you remember, neo wasn't rescued from the fields... he was flushed out of his pod, delivered to some kind of sewer, and then rescued. Who knows where that sewer was?

Why do you think the Fields were in the Machine City?

becuase when trinity and neo arrive in machine city we see the feilds and machines taking people out

the fields are near the power plant, they are not in the city....the power plant is not in the city either. The people connected to the matrix are located in/at the power plant
