Shane was born in Rochester, Minnesota to parents Randy and Tami Hunter. Shane had never gotten along with his biological parents from very close to the start. Shane’s biological parents put him up for adoption when he was only 10 years old, but he was hardly in the orphanage for two months. Derek and Megan McGovern adopted him and brought him to into a family life a hundred times better then the one he had before. At the age of 12, his mutations began to flourish. His first power that he received was Telekinetic. The first encounter was when Shane was sleeping one night and all of his furniture moved tight against one wall in his room. But as he grew into his later years, he would start to her things. At first it was completely out of the blue and he would hear a couple words at most. And soon after he heard things whenever he wanted, and he could tell people things even later. His healing wasn’t discovered for a long time until he was caught in an earthquake and a picture fell of the wall and cut him from his shoulder straight down to his thumb, and his mother saw what happened. That very same day when Shane was cleaning up his house he was lifting a dresser and trying to push it back up on it’s legs, but when he was using a great deal of force to lift the heavy dresser he pushed himself threw the floor and into the basement. When Shane was 15 a scientist named Hank McCoy discovered him. Hank told, or rather called Mrs. and Mr. McGovern and told them that their son was excepted into a school for ‘Gifted Youngsters’. His parents made the ruff decision and sent Shane off to a new Prep School in up state New York. Shane then attended the ‘Charles Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters’. A few years later when Shane was 18 he ran away from the school and joined a gang of Mutants that thought they would never be excepted into the world. He soon got a tattoo of a bar code on the back of his neck. A few more months later a Scientist kidnapped the gang. Only two got away, including Shane, the rest were never seen again. And then Shane returned to the school. Ever since Shane has stayed in the school, keeping secrets and having lies about when he was gone. Leaving no one to know but himself.

History: One of the original X-men. The profeser found him in the middle of a giant smoking crater which was once a town. Spent the next 12 years at the mansion until he became an X-man. He grew bitter because of what happened and always was scared of what he might do even though he doesnt know how he did it but is still very loyal to the X-men.
