wow its supposed to have windmills on top to generate power..70 floors or office space..and radio antennas on top... what a good thing to build right there eh? 🙁

Plans look really cool. I had some really cool experienced in the WTC years ago **coughinmyyouthcough** I can't wait to go back to the new designed building

i didn't even want leibeskind to win...it's too short and the only thing that will make it the tallest building is the 226 foot radio tower at the top...so dumb

by the time it's finished it probably won't even be the tallest building in the world, or for a short period of time

It's not, they building around it, nothing will be built on the foot steps of the old towers.

It would probably be a good idea to not rebuild the trade center there, but seeing as it is NYC, there's no room anywhere else to build it.

And not building it isn't an option either, Manhattan lost 10,000,000 SF of much needed office space on 9/11.
They have to rebuild.

i think rebuilding is the best and only option they have. Like someone said above their's no where else to build it, lower manhatten needs the space for business anyway and besides i think it's about time we got some real modern skysrapers in nyc...this design is too short for my taste though.

all people give a shit about is the money they will make off the new building they could care less about the people

they should keep some memorial.....

They are, the memorial will be built around the footsteps of the old towers with a 9/11 musuem built underground.
