Luke and Mara

They are perfect and need to have a kid.

In the book "Edge of Victory: Rebirth", the son of Luke Skywalker is born. His name is Ben Skywalker (Ben as in Obi Wan's Ben). Mara had a disease which wasn't cured completely by Vergere's tears, and both she and the baby were in extreme danger during his birth, and at that time Luke gave his strength in the force to both Mara and the unborn child, and created a force bond which cured the disease completely, and Ben came into the world.

Ben is force sensitive, and is strong in the force. Luke has also foreseen a grown up Ben playing around in Zonama Sekot.

👽 In the comic Star Wars union Luke was really happy about marrying Mara even though a few people diden't agree to them getting married, but it is funny reading in the books on how well they get on with each other and Luke will be a good father to ben. I knew in away that he would call his kid Ben after all apart from yoda Obi wan was person who had respected.

He is 3 years old currently.

Problem is, just saying 'that rule is suspended now' somewhat misses the point that that rule was essential. They didn't just do it to be awkward.

actually i think Luke's vision of Ben was on Yuuzhan'tar...correct me if it says anywhere that it's specifically on Zonoma Sekot

great match in my opinion...took a long time, but still great. I wonder what happened to Callista though...i know her and Luke made peace a while after she left...but did she ever get her Force ability's back?

In the first vision in Rebirth, He says a place like Coruscant but not Coruscant. But in TUF he explains that in his vision, he saw Ben flying a Sekotan ship (during the vision in Rebirth), and that he belongs in Sekot. It isn't explicitly stated but I believe it means that he was in Sekot.

👽 I don't think that you hear about Callista again in New jedi order but their is ways to regain the abilities of the force.

A very interesting thing I found out last night is that Mara actually means bitter. Quite fitting if you think about her life as the Emperor's Hand and how she wanted to kill Luke at first. I wonder if Zahn did this on purpose... I'm sure he did, I think its unlikely that it was coincidence.

It was necessary at the time. and callista turned into a computer well her spirit anyway.

Bah, necessary schmecessary. Oh well, Callista is the ultimate lesson against internet dating 😛 With her as an ex-computer and no jedi powers and as far away as possible from Luke, I'd say that it all turned out for the best, eh?

I'd pick Mara for Luke any day of the year. He deserves a sassy redhead, not some something-hundred old half computer ex-jedi blonde bimbo.... as you can see I have *such* a high opinion of Callista 😄
