sum1 mighta asked already but when do kenshin and kaoru get 2gether, ive seen like all da anime but i havnt read any of the manga and i kno they didnt make de last arc, so does it happen then?! coz they r like married and have a kid in the last Samuri X ova thing
can sum1 plz fill me in coz RK is soo mad!! (but the sub is beta then the dub, i luv kenshins oro?! thing he does XD)

I haven't watched the movies prior to the Rurouni Kenshin series. I'm on Eps 72 right now. It's not bad, story kind of drags at times...guess that's why it's taken me a little while to finish.

what do you think is better samurai x or ruroni kenshin

If you want 2 see their relationship go to the next level, you better start reading the manga( it even has a part called the "Revenge Arc" which was never animated into the series dealing with Enishi kidnapping Kaoru*no, I'm not talking about Samurai X, though that part in the manga is similar to it*) or the OVA "Samuari X".Yeah, they kiss, have a kid named Kenji & yadaa yadaa yadaa...though...there's 2 alternative endings....

I've seen the movie, all OVA's, read some of the manga & all episodes except for the one's CN didn't air....

And wind27382, that's a HARD decision for me...um....I like both?I think Rurouni Kenshin is better...even though Samurai X animation is the best....it's kind off too calm( like .Hack//Sign) but the fighting scenes of SX is AWESOME!!!!!!!

what is the difference bewteen the three,( Rurouni Kenshin anime, Rurouni Kenshin manga, and Samurai X) i really don't understand it all. and i want that cleared up for me. i read the manga only so far and i thought that would all i need to do is read that so plz help me.

You're very confused...huh. Okay, between the Rurouni Kenshin manga & anime, they are very DIFFERENT. Of course the manga is the original but as for the anime, it's mostly filler episodes( parts made-up by other people or parts not copied straight from the manga)Alot of the things in RK didn't happen in the manga & vice-versa so it's a little different story but it resolves to end up the same....like for an example, Kenshin defeats Shishio.

For the Samurai X part, it's TOTALLY different. Samurai X is the OVA & is the prequel & sequel to the anime series Rurouni Kenshin. SX"Trust & Betrayal" is the prequel to the development on how Kenshin became Battoisai the Man Slayer & all. The sequel "Reflection" is taken place AFTER the anime series Rurouni Kenshin.

So this is the order to go by with...
Watch Samurai X( Trust & Betrayal )Read manga, Watch RK anime, & Watch Samurai X "Reflection" ( sadly, Samurai X was made by a different person but it doesn't affect the show)
Yeah, there's 2 alternative endings 2 RK. In the manga( if your reading it) is the HAPPY ending.
In Samurai X, it's the sad ending( but it goes way FARTHER than where the manga ends.I think that's all*whew!*

how long is the manga exactly? haha i liked the ending of Reflection it wuz so sad, but its like u get closure uno? its sweet @ the same time...that rite b4 he died he finally got 2 see Kaoru

Nice, I personnaly liked watching the sad ending... It's different you know? Most movies always got to have the happy ending. Anyhow, SX is a good movie... and I haven't seen the other one you were talking about, know where I could find it?

Just finished watching eps 90 of Rurouni Kenshin...it's all about Feng Shui...interesting.

Finally...only five more episodes left and i'm finishe, it's been a long haul.

damn are you watching the whole thing at once? lol i would do the same thing but 90+ episodes o.O i wouldnt sleep for days rofl

Man...the series can drag at times...and other points in the show it keeps you on your feet. Luckily i've got a bunch of other anime on my list that I watch regularily enough...more or less to keep me from getting bored.

I've been watching this series for the better part of 9 months I think lol.

I loved the OVA one better...it made me cried....

I just got my hands on the Samurai X OVA's and the Rurouni Kenshin movie. Can't wait to sit down and watch later.
