Is it the same?

hey i was wondering is the dress we see Arwen in at the coronation the same dress that Frodo saw her in when they first met????

No the dress that Frodo sees her in is a white dress. And if I am not mistaken (but probally am it is the same as when she comes to Aragorn in Rivendell) The dress that she wears in the ROTK is a very beautiful light green dress.

No the dress from FOTR is white. You can buy it. It was the offical Arwen costume they released. Very pretty!

Okay...let me clarify, because I see there's still some confusion.

FOTR: After being stabbed by the WiKi, Frodo has a vision of Arwen. In the vision, Arwen is wearing the "Angel Dress," which is a silver-white, glowing dress.

ROTK: At Aragorn's crowning ceremony, Arwen wears a light green dress.

None of her dresses were used more than once.

So it looks somewhat green because yellow light meets blue surrounding...

yes. or you need to fix the coloring on your tv, lol! The dress wasn't pure white, though. I think it was slightly off-white with silvery jewels on it.

Exa, Arwen was wearing that dark dark dress when she was in the scene where she was talking about reforging Narsil, in front of the Narsil shards, where the sun lighting was bright and they closed it up on her face of her hood.

Fini are you getting with the program here?? The dress Arwen wore in Fellowship of the Ring and the Return of the King are two different dresses.
The designing of the dresses are similar but they're actually different.
In the Fellowship of the Ring she had more of a white dress on, but in the Return of the King she had a more of a lime colored dress on at Aragorn's Coronation.

Yes they are clearly different (see the first pics in the thread)

mmm....when Frodod seen her as an angel it was white and then when it went back to the darkness of the forest and night it was a black-ish dress.
