Favorite LOTR character? and why? [merged]

all the characters a good, but gandalfs acting was so brilliant!!!!!!
but my personal favs r gandalf, all the hobbits and legalos....

My favourite character is the LOTR. This character really defines villainy to my mind.

I chose Sam 🙂 a true friend.
If it wasn't for him, the story wouldn't be what it is/was.

In the book, Sam was FAR more loyal to Frodo; like a dog - or something...

Sauron gave the book its atmosphere of hopeless gloom that worked so well for my puerile self. Fellowship of the Ring captures this well, especially with the wraiths attacking the hobbits - it's best through Frodo's worm's eye view. The Two Towers does't really get this...

I wanted to vote Arwen, but she wasn't ther, so I voted Aragorn.

I have voted for Legolas coz he is by FAR my favourite character!

This is NOT just because he is very attractive, but it also because the Elves are my favourite race, they have a beautiful language and are wanderfully graceful. I think Orlando Bloom did a wicked job-no one could have played a better elf!

you guys only vote for leggy cuz hes hot he doesn't have much acting skills..and Arwen isn't that great either all she does is wine in the movie and cry and shes hardly in the books!!!.....but my Favourite characters are Aragorn,Sam and Ewoyn!
