"Yes, I believe we should" he nodded.

Taty led Kavkae around the city. They looked at plenty of apartments, but they were rundown.

Kavkae sighed. "Maybe we should look some more..."

Taty nodded. The next apartment looked perfect and was cheap but it had only one bedroom. Taty looked at Kavkae. "You should have it."

"No, no. You must. You found it, anyway. And if worst comes to worst, I can always.... go back."

Taty frowned. "No, you're going to stay in this apartment." she said laughing when she realized how bossy she was being. "Sorry."

"Its alright. But I must insist that you take this." he says gesturing to the apartment. Chenelle swims outside the window. She stops and swims in. "Whats the problem?" she asks the lady showing the apartment.

"There's only one bedroom." The old lady says. "And I take it the two are far from a couple."

"Far." Chenelle nods. "Well, if your both so fussy, you can stay with me. But Taty would have to stay with me. Our house is being rebuilt so we don't have much room..." she says slowly.

Taty nods. "Thanks, Chanelle. Kavkae, you have the apartment." she says.

Ewan wandered outside for a swim to clear his head. He somehow managed to find the same apartment building Taty and Kavkae had found. He adressed both of them: "You two can stay at the palace, if you want," he offered, sounding a little bit dazed. It had been a rough week for him--first he very nearly lost his life, then Thay was killed defending the kingdom from the spiders, now he had to defeat another monster of some kind..

Lila began to think of what Ewan said about if he died, none of this would happen. She knew it wasn't true, and she just realized why, if she picked Thay, none of this would happen.

Thay looked at them all from his vantage point. "You want to be back there don't you?" the guardian of the dead rose in front of him. "Yes."
The guardian grinned. "There are ways to becoem corporeal and alive again. Thay thought... the magic mountain... it healed all.

((well since Tela and *---* aren't here I guess I'll be back at the palace))

Ewan got back to the palace and laid down next to Lila on her bed.

She laid on her bed. If she had chosen Thay, he would still be king, the war would have ended sooner, there would be no incident with the spider army, and he wouldn't be dead now. Ewan wouldn't have as many problems on his mind either. She loved Ewan, but her choice caused more pain then good.

She was so deep in thought she didn't even hear him come in. She felt him on the bed next to her, and it pulled her out of her thoughts. She forced a smile. "M'lord." She whispered with a smile and cuddled against him a little, trying to figure out what to do, but also trying not to make it obvious that her troubled thoughts plagued her.

Thay knew he could coem back...
Thay appeared above the mouth of the magical volcano.

Ewan put his arm around her shoulders. His mind was also troubled, and, try as he might, he couldn't hide it. He stared up at the ceiling, a distant look in his eyes.

She kissed Ewan gently on his lips.

The pain was incredible... his corporeal body was in the magical lava.. but he wasnt dieng. He yelled an earth shattering roar, the water carrying the sound all through the kingdom.
