Joaquin Phoenix is Level 84 of awesomeness. I would eat his poop. I mean he went through the trouble of sounding like that drunk Johnny Cash!! I also wonder if he beat women in order to get the character down correctly. I'm sure he did, because he is such a great actor. That's what they do after all - living the life of the character they are depicting.

no he's not a method actor he has an imagination..he said so himself in interviews.
