aww sorry about the spoiler thing ..but when you do watch the movie it wont have spoilt it for you..you're pretty much aware that something like that is going to happen 😖

Anyway yeah quills is brilliant and you need to see inventing the abbotts cause thats really cute ..you could just rent them or download them or whatever instead of waiting to buy them 😛

It's OK don't worry 😄 I saw a bit of it yesterday when it was on Sky Movies but it was just a bit in the middle so I didn't know what was going on.

I don't do downloading films that's naughty lol. And I buy them rather than rent them because most of the time the films only cost around £7ish (if they're old) and it costs nearly £4 to rent them and then if I like the film I'll just think I might aswell have just bought it. I'm sure I saw Quills for £6 in HMV 😱 Ooo and I shall check out Inventing The Abbotts too eventually! I just looked it up on Amazon and it's only £5 😱 even though I expected it to be around that price anyway. Oh and Quills is only £6.

Oh no he doesn't have a film coming out until next year 🙁

I hear Joaquin was really good in walk the line..i hear it was an amazing movie..

Does anyone else wish he hadn't turned down a chance to become a singer? cry

I didn't know he could sing. I do like his acting though, so I'm glad he does it.

I loved River in Stand By Me as well, such a shame about him.

You must not have seen 'Walk The Line!' SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!

I suppose after seeing that he was as good of a singer as he was they offered him a singing career but he turned it down ton continue on with acting and acting only. 🙁

Joaquin Phoenix retiring from acting

What the heck? He is leaving for a music career? Why can't he juggle both like many others do? I'm guessing he'll be back a a few years. http://extratv.warnerbros.com/2008/10/joaquin_phoenix_leaving_the_si.php

Re: Joaquin Phoenix retiring from acting

I hope this story is bullshit, I rather like his acting.

Highly doubt this story is true, Phoenix is a very good actor and hopefully he will continue to act in good films

Damn, i was hoping for a Signs 2 🙁 He said he was dead serious though. That usually means they aint be jokin

here is the video of him saying he's quitting and the interview guy just laughs and Joaquin gets a little mad about it

😆

a little mad? It looked like he wanted to punch the guy in the face🙂 Hollywood is so wierd.

It is confirmed. Joaquin has retired from acting and will be taking up on his music career.

😬 I'll miss seeing him in films. My favorite of his was Ladder 49. Second was Clay Pigeons.

Dude does one musical biopic and he thinks he's a f*cking singer. Some Hollywood actors have really, really gargantuan egos.

He'll return, eventually, when his "musical career" takes a swan dive into the asphalt.

He did a good job as Mr. John R. Cash, though.

thats always been the way hollywood is for some reason,, actors want to be singers and singers want to be actors..

I do agree with you, he will return to acting once his singing career goes down the drain

I also agree with you, he portrayed johnny cash very well

I've enjoyed some of his work. I heard from a friend that he is quite an assh*le in real life. If that video is for real then I just lost all respect for him. What a blow hard. He wants to quit acting to pursue music??? What pre Madonna b*tch. F*ck Joaquin Phoenix. What a t*wat.

I'd marry him. awesome

You'd marry any guy with a hard on for himself.

Shhh. You're not supposed to tell anyone. How many times do I have to tell you that this sh*t is confidential?

I hope he gets Russel Crowe on his record
