Hey, this is kind of random, but it's been bugging me ever since...
Well, okay, I played a custom game the other day. It was called 'Red vs. Blue' and they said we were supposed to make a skit like Red vs Blue. (I know, it's retarded, but that's not the point of this reply.) So anyway, I was about to quit as soon as the game began, but I realized that I had no weapon!
Nobody did, so it was obviously an option in the gametype. When I tried to go make a game with no weapons, I couldn't figure out how they did it.
I really want to know how they did it. Any explanations?

Yeah, that was the biggest videogame disappointment of 2005.
actually they did it on purpose.
Since halo 2 was made specifically for more online play than story mode they focused more on that. Bungie left out there hoping that people will buy halo 3 to see what happens near the end.
of course i feel sorry for people who don't have live..and have to play the boring story mode 😛
