The one for the fractals is called Apophysis, it's freeware so you can download it for free, just google the name and you'll find it 🙂

It's one of those programs where you just play around and see what you come up with, really 😂 Much easier than the other fractal program that I have....

I just had a play, but I can't figure out how to save them... as they won't open again. I know I'm being a dumbass, but what else do I need? I literally downloaded the Apophysis program, but none of the other bits on here http://www.apophysis.org/downloads.html

Do I need it all?

The only thing you need is Apophysis 2.02, the other stuff you don't.

If you go to http://sya.deviantart.com there's a very good tutorial for the program, as well as things you can download for it.

To save them so you can work later go to File > Save Parameters; to save it as a JPEG you go to Flame > Render to disc.

Thanks chick, I initially only downloaded Apophysis itself. I'll get rid of the rest. And a tutorial would be very handy!!

(yes, I am aware you cannot see the parts that have been painted, as they were hidden once I put textures on. I still painted a LOT of that damn thing.)

(I dunno what this is, exactly....I did it entirely using PS brushes. I like how it looks though, people on deviantart said it'd look very cool as a giant poster, or the cover of a novel or a documentary DVD case or something.)
