I try to watch all of these movies at least once in every quarter. If I had to pick one currently with the most viewing, it had to be Mulan.
I used to watch Star Wars all the time.
But now I cringe at the very thought of watching it again.
Repeating Films
Everyone has atleast one film they can simply watch over and over and over again. How does that work? Take bad boys 2 for example, i know the script back to front, upside down, inside out coz ive seen it so many times, yet no matter how many times i watch it i never get bored of it.
Fight Clubs another one, i mean i dont know how you cant like fight club, maybe those sensitive to the brutality aspect of the film but it was so under-rated and its in atleast the top 5 favourite films lists of all my friends. Now whether it has characters/actors that you like in the film, or whether its an action scene that you cant get bored of like the fight against those swat guys in the matrix or the drag races from fast and the furios i dont know.
Does anyone know why we can watch some films over and over? I understand why we like violent films, mainly coz its a way to release stress that has built up over a day of work or to cover up a bad memory.

That is the one film which, for some reason or another, I can watch over and over again and feel as though I was watching it the first time. I remember days after The Matrix Reloaded made its debut, I watched The Matrix everyday for two weeks straight.
Was this movie ever released in theaters? I know it was, but come on, that movie looks way too good to be a theatrical release.

No, but The Matrix was one of those films where, the first time I watched it, I was just blown away. It looked way too good to be a theatrical release, because most of the films I've seen in theaters were typical formula films where everyone could figure out the plot in 2 seconds. Here, this was a film where the plot was just intriguing. Nobody expected the movie to have this much of an impact the way it did.
The sequels, well...I enjoyed The Matrix Reloaded, but I LOATHED The Matrix Revolutions. By the time that movie came out, I threw in the towel.
