I think Gandalf would win becuase he has Weta Digital to back him up and they are a better special effects company that ILM. 🙂

I love both film franchises...but I had to say Gandalf because he's older and he still kicks ass.

When Gandalf scares off the Nazgul with his wizard staff while riding his horse in Return Of The King!!! OMG. That was one of my favorite parts.
