Um.....yes it does, he said it, it was on Sky scene, he said it okay!! I'm getting sick of Americans and Canadians always thinking they're better then others and not believeing that someone from there own countrys would say something like that, he said it okay. there are good movies that were filmed in Canada, like The Butterfly Effect, The Whole Nine Yards, Taking Lives... (the last two in Quebec BTW, the province i live in 😉 )
did he mean America as in America or America as in the US? 'cause if he means America as in ALL of North America it wouldn't be that bad. of course there are just some movies you have to film outside of North America because of location reasons. i guess for some reason people think it's better in North America but of course there is absolutely nothing wrong with shooting somewhere else. sometimes you have no choice. i'm just trying to stay optimistic here. i don't think Sean wanted to offend anybody. i mean, it's Sean. 😍
Sorry I didn't mean to offend you❌.. but in every interview I've seen Sean in that just didn't strike me as something he would have said.. of course he could have said it but for all we know he could have meant it in a completely different way. For instance seeing as alot of actors live in California, in a way it would be alot cheaper just to film it all on a little stage rather then flying everyone out to some remote place, not to mention hotel fees and movie require a HUGE crew

Its actually cheaper to fly everyone out. They dont fly the entire crew, just the most important. The others are hired ppl from that country. Cheaper workers, cheaper licenses, easier to control the crowds, the prss,etc.
