It's not cheating to use a guide. You don't have to read the walkthrough, they have sections that will give you little clues. It's much better than pulling your hair out for hours.

Like for Nintendo, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. I gave up on it because I couldn't figure the damn thing out. That game sucks!
