Episode III Novelization

Anyone plan on reading thre book before the movie ? I think with the last two the books where out a few weeks before the movie.
an exceelent source of spoilers as well.

yes true i will

nope, won't, want to keep some things still a secret

The author was announced awhile ago but i cant remember who it was.

Matthew Stover from Traitor and Shatterpoint

yeap its mattew i think i heard that somewere also

I havent read any of his work yet I am waiting for shatterpoint to be realesed in paper back and traitor i havent made it that far in to the njo series . I was hoping Zahn would have got the job for the episode III book. I probobly wont read it till after the movie myself anyway it will be hard but i will wait.

Zahn would be the best

I always like to read the novel before I see the movie. When I read the novel, I picture the story in my head a certain way. Once, I see the movie, those images are what come to mind when I read the novel. Also, it's fun to compare the differences while watching the movie. Ex: The AOTC novel said that Dooku was a fencer and he used a fencing style with lightsaber. It didn't quite appear that in the movie.

Didn't it? The base of it all was fencing. I have no idea where that double handed attempt to finish Obi-Wan came from, though.

buying time to get anakin back in the game, I take?
like he twirled his blade a million times before getting ready for the strike 🙄

How about the unfinished scene where Dooku tries two lightsabers against Yoda? The few clips of that clearing show that Dooku is NOT a fencer.
I was so pissed that most of the Dooku/Obi-wan fight was omitted because GL decide to show what happened to Padme.

well, I hoped the dvd had more of the fight with two sabres against anakin and yoda integrated, but apperently not 🙁

I'm no expert, not by a long shot, but at least from his fighting with one blade it was pretty clear it was a fencing style

I was pissed when the deleted light saber sceenes were not on the dvd's as well
