Oh yes, one of those US military behind-closed-doors courts I guess. Shooting him and disposing him secretly is the best way. Just imagine that we'd never hear of him from now on..... that'd be the same thing. Nobody knows where he'd gone. There's no body, no imprisoned symbol of what he stood for etc.
he shouldn't be up for a secret court, but another court? yes. I don't think anyone should be shot without going to court first. the northern alliance has also stated that they will capture him alive if they can, and bring him to court.
of course, it wouldn't be a loss if he got shot, if that would be necesarry, but if they can, they should capture him alive.
While his death would be 'convenient', there comes a certain point where you have to stand up and say our principles mean something. And despite the trouble it would cause, a trial for this man is the ONLY way forward if the civilisation we so treasure, in the name of which we are doing this bloody war in in the first place, means ANYTHING at all.
