I have many favorite bands, but my favorite would be Blink-182, Three Day's Grace, and AutoPilot Off. But I didn't start a thread on my opinions, so tell me who your favorite band(s) are.

BON JOVI - They rock and are absolutely brilliant live. Put it one way you definately get your moneys worth and a hell of alot more 😄 😛 lol

My favorite bands are so old, but I grew up listening to Steely Dan, The Band, The Rolling Stones, Jethro Tull, and The Doobie Brothers. Currently, I'm listening to Jethro Tull's "Living In The Past" on Napsterlinks.

You can listen to the song by clicking on the link above, and entering your email address. As long as you're logged in, you can hear the full length song, instead of a 30-second clip. It's pretty cool.

may top 5 favorite band Dream Theater, Pantera, Sky Church, Slayer and Pearl Jam

my favorite bands right now are Cradle of Filth, Between the Buried and Me, Slipknot, and Job for a Cowboy

Red Hot Chilie Peppers (not really "rock"😉
Tool (again, not really "rock"😉
Foo Fighters
Deftones
Rage Against the Machine
Radiohead
Pearl Jam
Nine Inch Nails

Tool and RHCP are very much rock bands, just different kinds respectively.

If anything Deftones are not "rock". If you want to get into genres, that is.

The ones that i cannot classify as "rock". I was getting into the whole "Tangents of Rock"

and yes, Deftones is one that i missed with the "Techinically not rock" Statement

TIME TO EDIT!

Tool class themselves as hard rock, everyone else tries to lumber them with the label of progressive metal.

I think they've got much more in common with rock than metal, they have a few metal moments here and there but mostly I'd class them as a hard rock band, so would they.
