What happened to Winamp 4?

I used to use Winamp 3 a lot and I go onto the winamp homepage and I'm littered with thing about Winamp 5 what happened to Winamp 4? 😕 I never remember it coming out??? 😖

Winamp 4 is a hybrid of winamp 2 & 3.
It's winamp 2 + 3 = 5
So hence winamp 5 and not 4.

i have winamp 5,it sed that its so good they decided to skip a number or something 😛

I like I-tunes better

I also use iTunes, and Windows Media Player.

I used to use RealOne and before that Winamp 3 but i guess maybe Winamp 4 was a beta test or something then they just went straight onto 5 😖
