Sean Astin IS Sam....No one could've done a better Sam. He was the main reason I cried during the movie.

I think it's Best Adapted Screenplay or Best Adapted Writing.

I'm thinking Best Supporting Male for Ian McKellen or Sean Astin (rarely seen two nominations for the same film)

On thing is, no matter if you liked the movie, the acting etc. or not, you cannot disregard that the movie is an amazing visual achievement, and it will probably pick up, worst case scenario, 3 or 4 statues for the technical side of things.

Feb. 29 is so far away! RotK HAS to get best picture. And lots of others too of course, but mainly best picture.

It's cool in a way that they are entertainers of the year on EM.....Not an actor or a singer, but the whole crew and movie! 😎
