Well, looks like the Spirit is being retarded. It is confirming that it is getting Earth's messages, but it is also confirming that there is something wrong with it. Good thing they sent the Opportunity along side it, in case the Spirit really is broken.

We should explore our own back yard before we move into space. WE know so little about oceans it untrue...
