Sonia nodded. "Maybe one of us should speak to Professor Rydell, try to get close to him, and maybe he'll spill. It may take a while but while that person is friending, distracting, him the othe others could investigate some how." she said.

Having heard their conversation, Ariana's head jerked up.

"Rydell has one of the stones, but I wouldn't have expected that from him." She said shocked.

"I think we need to focus on trying to find the sword as opposed to finding all the stones............... if we can destroy the green stone, well then we wouldn't have to worry about the other five because they were all made to work only when all six are placed together." She said...her voice was trailing off.

She felt a stinging sensation run through her fingers. She tossed the book across the table.

"Damn book!" She said. Her fingers now had burn marks on them, but it wasn't an ordinary burn, it was something in another language. Though it wasn't the ancient language.

She looked at her fingers. Each one had a letter inprinted in it. She grasped hold of her quill, her fingers still burned.

Quickly she wrote down the letters.

"Lintha Paro"

"Hey, will you two look at this." she said to Drake and Sonia.

This looks like elvish writing. she thought to herself............. but why would elvish writing hurt me.......unless this is a clue.

"Ariana you'd better go to talk with madame ponfrey about those burns, but I wonder why only YOU is affected by this book, neither I Dale Sonia and Laura had problems because of this book."

Sonia sneered but looked. "It's elvish, and I'm not particularly an expert of that language." she couldn't believe it. "Drake, what do we know about Professor Rydell's chracter traits?" she asked. She knew the two wouldn't get it, but she did.

Sonia let out a small laugh. SHe smiled at Drake. "Good idea, but can we trust him not to let our plan slip out?"

Ariana seemed very distant from them..........she didn't feel quite herself.

"Well, there's no time to wait for Dale" Ariana said. "I will be okay. I don't want to go to Madame Pomfrey, she'll just lecture us for getting into shoes that are two big for us." "Maybe Li might now, she's a seer and all."

She felt exhausted and she passed out on the table.

Sonia slung the girls arm around her shoulder before picking her up. "You're going to Madame Pomohrey. I'm a prefect and you need medical help. I don't care what she says." Sonia said carrying her to the med wing. She knew she's have to lie about what they were doing.

"Ariana? Ariana are you all right?? She's not well, we need to take her to Ponfrey QUICK, help me here Sonia"

IN THE HOSPITAL WING

Ariana is brought into the hospital wing by Sonia and Drake. She is currently unconcious. The book seemed to be having an affect on her, yet no one else....that we know of.

Sonia started to the medwing with Ariana in her arms. The girl was heavy. So nia bumped the door open.

"That's weird, but we need to find that elven sword, does anyone have an idea of were it could be? Anyways let's go talk to Li as Ariana sugested."

Sonia let Ariana with the nurse and headed back to Drake. "Yeah, I guess. Let's go." she said.

Madame Pomfrey came in and tended to her. She did not notice the burns. She thought the girl had just passed out. She whipped up some pepper up potion and gave it to her through a shot.

Instantly Ariana was revived. She thanked Madame Pomfrey.

"Ariana, you have been studying too hard for your O.W.L.S." Madame Pomfrey said to her. Assuming that was the problem "It happens every year, you are the first this year though. Last year I had four patients suffereing from the same ailment.....I call it Bookitius." She said with a laugh.

"I want you to remain in here tonight." She told her.

"Yes, ma'am." She said, though she wasn't intending on staying.

"You just get some rest dear." She told her. "I am going to Diagon Alley to Mr. Mulpeppers to get some more antidote." "I shall be back in the morning to check on you." She told her.

Madame Pomfrey left the hospital wing and walked along the halls. She reached the main entrance and exited.

{OOC: Li isn't online right now...but yeah she is in Lady Frost's office. Ariana is about to slip away from the wing...determined to help solve the mystery!}
