Meanwhile Ariana suddenly woke up. She hadn't realized that she had fallen asleep while reading her book. When she awoke she heard rumors that many students had been injured. She didn't want to pry into anyone's conversation so she decided to go to see if anyone was at the hospital wing.
She left and hurridly made her way to the corridors that led to the medwing.
Hospital Wing
Ariana stepped in the door. She gasped when she saw Lady Frost, Courtney and Dale all on beds.
"What happened?" She thought to herself. "Has it started already..........oh no......"
She walked by each bed, as if examining them like a doctor would.
Tears came to her eyes when she saw Dale and Courtney. Dale had become a very close and dear friend of hers and now he was unconcious.
She took a chair and sat between him and Courtney. She didn't know Courtney but still felt bad.
"Why is this evil happening here? She thought. "Can all of this have happened from the book? She asked herself.
Ariana walked
Jasmine walked out onto the grounds. She needed to clear her head and she walked down to the lake. She sat there and took out a letter from her pocket. It was a letter from Nyphora, her cousin.
The warm sun was shining down on her and it felt good. After the incident that had just happened it was a nice change of environment.
Her eyes gazed over the grounds as she looked up from the letter. She saw Professor Higgs walking back towards the castle.
In the distance she could see some students down by Professor Dianda's Hut.
She returned her attention to the letter from her cousin.
The door fell open to raveal Professor Diande, scowling at being disturbed. However, as she saw Ryong, the frown disappeared and she took him in her arms, turned wround, and the door closed behind her.
She lay him gently on the table and whispered "Nefaráto," An Elvish command to awake. He merely turned, slightly restless, and drifted back into a deep sleep. She frowned, concentrating. "Nefaráto!" she commanded.
She switched her spell to the drifts of cloud that still surrounded him. "calenagar, calenagar, calenagar! Nefaráto, Ryong!"
