Prof. Rydell's Office
Professor Rydell heard the noise from his office. He ran to the door and looked out in the hallway.
He stopped in his tracks. He saw a thin grey serpent with glowing red eyes slythering its way through the halls. It had came from the same direction as the Slytherin dungeons and made its way up through the halls.
As it crawled and slithered along it stopped in the corner.
Professor Rydell tried to look more closely at the creature. He was careful so that the creatures red flaming eyes did not see him. He saw that the creature had firey red eggs with it.
He thought to himself That's an Ashwinder and their eggs are helpful in the aid of very dark magic........but they only come from fire.......how did it get in? Who would have released such a creature? He wondered.
Where is Lady Frost when you need her, he thought. Ashwinders' need to be frozen and she has the ability to freeze things, however she can't help us now can she.....
His thoughts trailed off and back into a more important matter. We need to get rid of this creature before it sets all of Hogwart's on fire.
Immediately he ran off to warn the other teachers and the students.
Professor Rydell's door had not closed all the way behind him and two nifflers squeezed through the crack just before it closed.
The began rummaging around and under papers in search of something treasureful. For they were very good at finding treasure.

Meanwhile in the slytherin common room a face kept appearing in and out of the fireplace, as if it were looking for someone.
