THIS HAS HAPPENED

Professor Rydell found his way down to a secret basement/cellar that is down under the dungeons. In search of something.

THIS IS HAPPENING

Professor Rydell scanned the room he was in. It was very dull looking with many spiderwebs that could be seen everywhere, in all different directions. He saw something wriggling around on the ground, his eyes focused on it and he saw it was a worm rolling around in the dirt.

He began walking to the left corner. He saw something wooden sticking up out of the ground. He reached for it and began to tug on it. After a good five minutes or so the object finally loosened. Lying before his eyes was a box that was much shaped like a treasure chest. The wood was very old and looked almost rotted. It looked as if one time there was a lock on the chest, but it must have been broken because there was a small bit of chain that was still connected to it.

"Yes, it has to be in this." He said to himself.

This particular box had the same strange language markings on it.

"The ancient wizard language, again." He thought. Pulling out the book in his pocket.

On the chest these were were scribed, but you could barely make them out because of the deterioration.

Ish veta speilo dras un fuerta

He began scanning through the pages of the book, desperately trying to find an answer to this treasure chest, and to decode the language so he could better understand what this item was.

{yes, good 😄}

The three headed creatures stared at Dale as if they were about to attack him, to them he looked like a nice tasty treat! (hee hee)

As he walked down some stairs, Dale realised they had moved, and he was now near the Slytherin dormitory.

{Any way for our characters to actually KNOW that?}

{well you can THINK he's up to something...didn't you talk to the portrait..if so..then you have your own conclusions...you CAN be snoopy...but no one really know's what he is up to....AND i am not going to say..b/c right now i haven't decided if he will be good or bad....maybe he's trying to solve the puzzle before it gets into the WRONG hands...or maybe his hands are the wrong ones.....hee hee *evil laugh*}

Dalew walked down from his dormitory into the Gryffindor common room. Everyone was so depressed, so he let off a few spells. One was a translucent phoenix that flew around the room. His second was a giant illusion of the Gryffindor Lion, that prowled around the room, but not threatning anyone.

"It's not like anyone's going to be hurt." He said to his friends

OOC
Who is Gryffindor prefect?

Silver Tears(pm her if you need her to play) 😄

STILL DOWN IN THE DUNGEONS

Professor Rydell's light went out again and he said "Luminos" and the green light reappeared.

"I had better take this chest up to my office and read up on this there." He thought to himself.

He tried to hide the chest in his robe as best that he could and he headed for the tunnel and began to crawl back up to the dungeons.

When he got to the exit the portrait opened automatically for him and he peeked out. There was nothing but darkness around him. He slowly followed the wall and crept up to the stairs. He did not use Luminos, because he did not wish to be seen, by anyone, for if anyone found out what he was up to it would be a great cost to him and possibly everyone else.

{i kinda meant one headed creatres ,bt three oif trhem}

Dale noticed the nasty lok in their eyes, but remembered that most of the Gorilafes were scared of humans, since their pranks often ended up with the human getting angry and casting a spell on them. he hoped that they wouldn't attack him, but though about letting them free in the castle one night. Or, in the grounds, since that would be more troublesome for that bloody Diana.

😂

[ooh she's gonna sick lady frost on you.....then she might turn you to ice....she has that power...but i have not had her use it YET! 😄]

{he aint done it yet, and if uses spells, she wont know who did it. remember they are just playful, not nasty}

NPC ENTRANCE INTO GRYFFINDOR DORMITORY

A small girl with long jet black hair and emerald eyes walked into the Gryffindor common room. She looked around the room eager to talk to someone, but it just couldn't be anyone, she had to be careful of whom to discuss her discovery with.

She pulled out an old ripped piece of parchment and began to glance over it. It looked worn and ragged. It's edges were jaggedish, almost as if it had once belonged in a book.

{no...they are HUNGRY!! hee hee...sorry i am always having creatures want to bite or eat you..😂}

The creatures used their tounges to grab more food, satiating there hunger.

After they finished their snack the began to swing their arms around wildly, as if they were trying to get his attention. {check out common room/corridor thread....}

Dale saw a shadowy figure, so he said
"Lumos!,", trying to see who it was. When the light hit Rydell he saw he was trying to carry something.
"Oh! Hello Professor, would like some help carrying that?"

Karen looked around the basement something just wasnt right, "somethings diffirent" she thought to herself. Karen then heard someone shout Lumos and ran to the sound finding Dale holding the lighted wand, which was pointing at the Professor.

{I shouldn't be in two places at once, sorry 😉}

IN THE DUNGEONS

Professor Rydell was caught off his guard...he was speechless! "Oh, um, hi, Dale is it?" he replied quickly.

"Oh, no I don't need any help. This is a suprise that I am saving for our next DADA class." He said to him, lying.

{And I dont understand what this has to do with the castle}

Dale knew that they were very docile if you friedly to them, so he held out his hand, palm facing them, to sniff, so they would become accquainted to him.

{well the PARCHMENT of the NPC player I brought in will lead up to a missing and very IMPORTANT page of Professor Rydell's book...once I figure out what it will say.....I'll have to think on that one tonight. 😄}

They started drooling slobberly and started bouncing around. They were restless from being tied up.
