like he would use it. he was just laying and praying: oh my god, oh my god, please don't kill me, please don't take me BOO HOO... he wouldn't do anything. and how could pyro know that rogue wouldn't need any help? these cops knew they were mutants, they were probably a bit prepared, just didn't expect such anger from pyro. and pyro just didn't have time to contemplate wether they're gonna be taken away or they'll manage to defend themselves
He didn't really save him. Rogue made him go back cus she was scared that they were going to kill Wolverine even though theres no way that they could cus Wolverine would have slaughtered them all. He chose to stay behind to help the kids that were left and probably cus he wanted a good fight but Rogue and Iceman ruined it.
you see...iceman made that ice wall thing cuz rogue told him to do so..... cuz they thought that stikers gonna kill wolvie... plus.... remember wolvie said "go... im gonna be alright" then rogue said "but we wont" so basically... iceman dint really save wolvie.... plus... iceman really is a wuss... and.. pyro attacked them cops cuz theres no help around.... you see... storm and jean arrived way after the attack.... and during the time of storm and jeans absence... the cops couldve caught them already,..... you see... the cops really were gonna get them by hook or by crook.... (remember BOBBYS BROTHER CALLED THE POLICE???????????) so basically.. the police is determined to catch them even if pyro dint attack them...
