Pyro is weaker in the movie because he can only manipulate the fire, unlike Iceman who doesn't need anything to manipulate from. So if Iceman knocks Pyro's lighter from his hand he is useless and Iceman can freeze him and it is over. my two cents.

your basically right i mean pyro can do all that cool manipulation stuff but iceman can do it all and not have anything to make it from not to mention iceman has a WHOLE lot more experience
