My wife has a brother who was seperated from his three sisters and adopted when he was 3 years old. The three sisters remained with the parents.
Mandy has no idea where he is now, she has tried to trace him, but only to the extent of leaving letters with the adoption agency so that he can contact her, should he choose.
It's very sad because Mandy is the youngest sister, she was 4 when they were seperated. So all three sisters, and probably the brother who was adopted, remember what happened.
As far as For or Against.
From Birth I am Pro-Adoption
Beyond Birth, only if the child was in danger.
Mandy's brother was not in danger, he was simply 'given up' by her father.
