Has Sauruman's appearance in the EE of LOTR 3 been confirmed?

I think PJ has confirmed that its on the EE.

In the film it was literally: "Eh, let him stay in the tower. Who cares?" WE DO!

Plus - remember that pic of a wizard impaled on machinery that did the rounds on the net years ago? Ian Mckellen says that was Sauruman...

Ahnold> I stumbled across a list of scenes that should be in ee – including “Death of Saruman” (apparently happening at Orthanc and not in the Shire).
Same source said we’d see Houses of Healing, Gandalf confronting Witchking of Angmar, Merry swearing loyalty to Theoden, and Eomer mourning his uncle.

But 100 % certain info is impossible to come by right now. Not even the most ring-nerded people among my friends know anything, not even when ee is supposed to hit my DVD player 🙂

Peter Jackson said it would be in the Extended DVD edition.
