He wasn't in any big movies (if any) before LOTR, he did a well know TV show in Britain called Hetty Wainthrop(sp) and he did a few other TV productions. He has since done a few movies: Most of them Independent films and not easy to get ahold of!
An Insomniac's Nightmare
Spivs
The Purifiers(post production)
Shooting Livien (post)
The Hunt for the Yorkshire Ripper (tv mini series)
plus his work on Viggo's cd (great by the way)
Q: How does their relationship change?
Monaghan: I think there's a bond between them, because they know how much the Fellowship went through to save the Shire. But I don't think Merry ever talks to Pippin about what he has been through because it's so terrible. Merry is directly confronted with death, and it scars him. He sees people die--people he loves and cares for and tries to protect.
Boyd: Pippin's the same when the Fellowship loses Gandalf at Moria. Gandalf's almost like a God to Pippin. I suppose it would be like losing a parent when you're very young.
Monaghan: The final movie is going to break people's hearts. All the Fellowship are crushed, chewed up and ultimately spat out the other side. They're scarred forever by their journey.
ah i think I am mistaking, it was illy Boyd who was in Master of Commander,
erm, Dom was in a British TV Drama called "Hetty Wainthropp Investigates"

<<One of the most amusing moments was during the press conference in the morning when this particular Australian media "supa sta" was dominating the conversation and asking inane questions. This little bleached blonde thing asked the actors if they had read the book. Hello...
Elijah Wood asked her if she had read the book and her response was "Erm, no, it had too many big words in it." Like a fox, Elijah retorted with: "Perhaps you should go and buy a dictionary and thesaurus and try again." >>
