Who do you want to play the characters in the upcoming movie?

Well, I think someone who looks like this chick, would be great for Luna Lovegood, she has the perfect eyes for the part. I can't think of any british actresses off the top of my head who have eyes like hers.

with a little make-up they can make the eyes as big as they want.. so the eyes arn't nessesary... they just want someone that can play the part good..

The eyes are what MAKE Luna Lovegood. Everytime she's mentioned so are her eyes. There's only so much make-up can do for eye size, but I do agree that they will have to find someone talented. But that's the thing about the movie industry..they can be as picky as they want because there are millions of actors to choose from.

So, anyway, I think the girl for Luna should have really great eyes, like the model I posted.

I'm not saying THIS particular girl, I just really like her eyes. I would like Luna to have eyes, like that because that's are exactly how they are descibed in the book.

I pictured her looking more average and then once you get to know her, you see how pretty she is inside and out..

But that's just me I guess...

In the book she's described as odd looking..

I've never pictured Luna to be pretty...I've always seen her as someone whose not good-looking but not bad-looking either. I picture her as odd looking too.

I think if they cast Rachel Hurd-Wood as Luna Lovegood she would be prefect. She was really excellent in the remake of Peter Pan with Jason Issacs in it (aka Lucios Malfoy). You can veiw pictures of her online at IMDB.com. From there all you have to do is type her name in the search engine and there are pictures of her as well as her bio.

Hmmm. Not sure about who is cast for OotP and beyond yet, but I think these are some of my choices, perhaps not very good, but eh... and not all British, but eh again.

Umbridge - Magda Szubanski (well known Australian actress who would look the part and who could act it to) or Kathy Bates

Tonks - not sure, maybe Zooey Deschanel or, or... I don't really know.

Shacklebolt - Lawrence Fishburne or Michael Clarke Duncan maybe. Or even the guy who played Sisko on Star Trek: DS9. Or even Lenny Henry.

Sirius Black's mother - Glen Close

Neville’s gran - Angela Lansbury, just think she looks the part.

Mundungus - Hmmm. A shame it's a small part, I think a comedian of good calabre could have some fun with it, someone like Nick Frost or even Rowan Atkinson. Maybe the guy who played Baldwick in Blackadder.

Phineas Nigellus - Christopher Lee or maybe Tim Curry

Bellatrix Lestrange – not really sure... Kate Beckinsale perhaps.

Marvolo Gaunt – Peter O’Toole or Bill Nighy

Slughorn – No idea. Really.
