Pain is now firmly at the top of Naruto in power...Even KYUUBI could not do something like that.

All it did was blow up a small section of forest.

Yea it was pretty far behind... by miles... but you are right; that was probably not even close to the full power of the kyuubi.

I disagree with both of you.

I'd say that they are similar in magnitude.

Naruto's Kyuubi bast when sort of parallel to the ground. If it was aimed straight at the ground, it would probably make just as large of a crater....or it would just punch a massively deep hole.
As far as energy, it would appear the Naruto's was more energetic as it kept traveling left and right for quite a distance after Oro's defense split it in two.
The anime gives us a much better view of the two paths after the blast. They seemd to go on forever.
The top three scans and the bottom one show moutains and hills in the background in similar scale.
It also looks like it took Pain's blast a while to crush Konoha, whereas Naruto's was fairly instant.
The anime shows Naruto's blast being rather fast, if someone wanted to argue the "you can't tell from panel to panel".
True, we'll have to wait and see how it is put into animation....but it looks like it was a slow "crush".
I don't think any of that can beat Deidera's though.

a 10-kilometer blast is pretty epic...

Naruto's blast extend for miles and miles to the left and right of that blockade.
Which was my point.
I'm not referring to the crater that was already there before the blast, btw.
