Well he was just kinda grouped in with them. To be honest Scott and Ramona were worse than Lucas was, Ramona was kind of a *****.
In the comic especially some of her scenes made me a sad panda. 🙁 I like Knives.

lol kind of a? She flat out was a *****. But so's everyone at one point or another. Least her and Scott worked their shit out. Todd was probably the biggest jerk of all the ex's, except for Gideon maybe.
Knives was cool. Always liked it when she showed up. She did have quite a few sad parts though.

I prefer young adults to kids. Not that it matters because I've seen adults praise the movie and comics, so hey. O'Malley is far superior to Kubo. He does awkward things that I can appreciate.

I gotta say, even as much as I rag on Bleach sometimes, there's a whole lot worse out there for plotting (let alone Kishimoto!).
There's plenty of far, far worse series out there, and even Bleach-level writing takes considerable skills (heck, even Loeb, in terms of plot choices he makes they're often super dumb, but if you threw in tight editor control and you'd most likely see some not bad stories from him, like his earlier stuff).
It's easy to underestimate just how much skill it takes to create a series.

Kubo isn't that bad of a writer, actually. Well, he is good, really. Kishimoto is a much better writer, as of late, than Kubo. Kishi seems to be able to tie in plot elements from hundreds of chapters ago and he writes it so well that it actually closes up "questions" tha he proposed. Even if he didn't know how he wanted to address some points, at the time he wrote the open ended plot point, he still closes later when he figures out how he wants to do it. That's top tier writing especially considering how far away those plot points are, at times. Like, I have a hard time remembering things I wrote many years ago.
There are better writers, of course, than all of the above.
